Device lifecycle

The journey of a device in Connhex can be summarized in the following phases:

Provisioning phase​

Handled by the manufacturer or admin, typically during production or testing.

Device data (serial number, model, lot, ...) is tracked by Connhex Manufacturing. The device is then provisioned via Connhex Control, SnapLink, or the CLI.

Registration phase​

Handled by the end user.

The end user registers the device through the Device Ownership service, which creates the associated resource and grants access to the device's data.
